gnome-disk-utility software package provides manage and configure disk drives and media, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-disk-utility
gnome-disk-utility is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-disk-utility package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-disk-utility *
You will get with gnome-disk-utility package name, version, architecture and description in a table
